Project Manager for Process Optimization (Lean Management)

Key Objectives of the Position:

  • Implementing projects in Process Review and Process Standardization to increase operational efficiency and to reduce operational risk;
  • Support and help the Lean Six Sigma rollout within the Bank ensuring that a continuous improvement culture is developed and sustained in each business function/unit;
  • Development of internal trainings in process management and teaching of Lean Six Sigma tools as internal trainer.

Employment Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead activities in diagnostics and review of top-processes and supervise continuous improvement projects, preparing action plan and timing, controlling of projects deadlines and aligned activities;
  • Description of current as-is process (BPMN notation) to identify existing bottlenecks and weaknesses;
  • Submitting proposals for improvements and optimizations where appropriate to ensure customers satisfaction (according to VOC/VOB), processes efficiency and KPIs achievement;
  • Elimination of waste in processes and negotiation them further in order to minimize resources, operational risk, lead time, to improve quality and increase digitalization and capacity;
  • Analysis of possible process improvements (C&E, FMEA), forming the portfolio of projects for improvements implementation, proposing quantitative and financial benefits (hard- and soft- savings) and Road Map, approving with Process Owner, top management and business lines;
  • Modeling to-be process to achieve the best results, calculating of targeted process characteristics like cost, quality, lead time;
  • Building up a project portfolio management and a regular reporting on planning and statuses to internal stakeholders;
  • Consulting of senior management, functional/ department managers and Project Champions on optimization of new, future and existing processes;
  • Development and delivering special trainings for employees in process management “Lean basics”, “Six Sigma Yellow Belt – DMAIC”, teaching and coaching in business analysis techniques and Lean Six
  • Sigma tools (like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Workforce optimization, Visual Management, SIPOC, Spaghetti etc.)

Qualification Requirements:

  • Successful project management and delivery experience with a focus on change management;
  • Work experience with process optimization and standardization;
  • Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma methodology and instruments;
  • Practical knowledge and an understanding of banking products and services;
  • Higher education is compulsory;
  • 6 Sigma belts and/or Lean Management certificates are preferable;
  • Advanced MS Office user (including MS Visio, MS Project);
  • Upper-intermediate English.
